Today we played one questionnaire game, it was extremely challenging, and everybody had to think very hard to figure out what the answers to the questions were. The questions were very challenging and difficult.
The Hunger Games has been very fun, exciting and very challenging. There has been many themes through reading the book, and acting it out has made everybody enthusiastic. Some of the themes were, even if people are trained and have many skills to live through the games, social skills or partnership and team work can win the games. This explains the games when Cato and the Career tributes were trained because they were in the more expensive areas and Districts but people like Katniss and Peeta, who were from a very poor District with not much money to live on, won the games. Their survival skills were much better and having an alliance helped Katniss and Peeta through the whole games. Living in a much poorer area and DIstrict, tested their skills, like having to hunt for their food and trying to find enough water to survive on.
After Katniss and Primroses dad died, their family was torn apart, not having much confidence and after this, they didnt have much money anymore, which leaded them into having lots of survival skills.
The questions were all about the book, and after doing two lessons of questionnaires, it was getting to the end of the book/ movie. We needed to think back on questions like, 'Did Katniss meet/find Peeta next to the lake?'. Miss made very challenging questions and they were also trick questions. The answer was that Katniss met Peeta at a river not a lake, but we all had to think about these questions very hard, before we got the answer.
Having won most of the challenges before, Emily had her points up at the end of the day, but District 12 had brought lollies, just like the mentors in the Hunger Games did to get sponsors for their tribute, so this put their points/scores up and this brought it to a tie break!! Both the capitol, District 12, and DIstrict 2 (my district), were up for the challenge! Miss Garofano had to read out her last question and all of the tributes and Districts had to think of the answer. It was a very tough question that was a challenge for everybody. She told everyone that whoever got the question right, closest to the right answer would win a movie ticket for their whole group! Kristen put her hand up first and got to answer the question with a bit of help from her group, the Capitol. Even though Kristen explained it very well and got the exact answer that miss was looking for, i think Miss should have asked everybody to answer the question before she awarded the winning answer. Everybody would have had different opinions and different answers.
In the end, District 12 won, just like the movie and the book!! Solita had overpowered everybody with their scores, and she won a movie ticket. Great job to everybody for trying to win the Garo Games, it has been Great fun! WELL DONE SOLITA!! But wait, there is still one more game!! It is a surprise game, so this could change the score board!!
